1. Webinar: Celebrating Languages Across London

Our first webinar attracted a large and enthusiastic audience.

2. School Visits & Logo Competition

We visited the following schools to present commendation certificates and promote the Poster Competition:

  • Plashet School
  • Bishop Thomas Grant School
  • Frith Manor
  • St John’s Barnet
  • Jubilee High School

We invite students to design a poster celebrating the Festival of Languages 2026.

4. Festival of Languages 2026: Ways to Get Involved

We have created a guide outlining 10 ways to participate, with tailored suggestions for:

  • Primary schools
  • Secondary schools
  • Supplementary schools

  • Businesses and employers

5. Home‑Language Taster Sessions

Celebrate community languages by offering a short taster session.

If offering a public taster:

  • Choose a date and time
  • Set up registration (or we can help)
  • Send us the details so we can advertise
  • We can record your session for our YouTube channel
  • DBS‑checked volunteers can be matched with schools
