Nadine Chadier and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Frith Manor School where we greeted by very enthusiastic staff, keen to share all that they do to promote Languages and an International ethos. During our assembly, when Nadine asked the children how many spoke different languages at home, the vast majority of hands were raised and she stressed how valuable that skill is, while still reassuring that those without a heritage language were also at an advantage as they were all learning French.
It was a real pleasure to present certificates of commendation to those students who had reached the shortlist as well as to speak French to all the pupils as they left the assembly hall.
