Arabic has grown across centuries of scholarship\, storytelling\, and artistry\, and its script – instantly recognisable – forms elegant shapes that invite curiosity. \n\n\n\nDuring this taster\, you’ll get a feel for how Arabic handles likes and dislikes in a straightforward\, expressive way\, explore how its letters connect to form flowing written lines\, and learn how greetings reflect a culture known for warmth and hospitality. You’ll also take part in simple\, hands‑on activities to experience how the language works in practice. \n\n\n\nThis session offers a relaxed introduction to a language with a long intellectual heritage and a lively global presence. \n\n\n\nThis free event for adults will be led by LCoL Steering Group member\,  Dr Fatima Khaled\,  hosted by British Council and held online using Microsoft Teams.
