The programme will include speakers from London schools sharing ideas and resources which you can use the next week, as well as th echoice between primary / GCSE and/or A level sessions. We are happy to announce the birth of a website which we hope will bring all language lovers together under one inspiring banner – ‘London: City of Languages’ [to insert link] – providing a hub for teachers, students and parents/carers to find out about events, competitions/activities, resources and online communities which can promote our goals:
- Celebrate the incredible diversity of languages spoken and studied across London’s schools, universities, and communities.
- Inspire people of all ages to enjoy and pursue language learning—both formally and informally.
- Engage parents and carers in supporting language education and recognising its broader benefits, including for employability.
We have also set up an email account making it easy for people to contact us safely and securely. This will be especially important for sending us entries for our first competition which will eb launched at the beginning of September. Keep tuned for another news flash! Thank you.
