We are a collective of language professionals from a wide range of London organisations. Together, we celebrate and promote the city’s extraordinary linguistic and cultural diversity — as represented in its communities, schools, universities, workplaces and cultural institutions.
Our aim is simple: we want people to feel part of London: City of Languages. You don’t have to “do” anything to belong — just enjoy the experience of living in, studying in, or visiting a city where languages surround you.
At the same time, if you’d like to get involved, this is the platform to begin. We welcome contributions in many forms. If you organise events or activities in London that align with our mission, you’re invited to share them with us. We can help publicise your work, and you’re welcome to use the London: City of Languages logo to “badge” your activities — helping us spread the word and showcase the city’s multilingual vibrancy even more widely.
