A taster in … French!

This session will offer a lively introduction to French through the lens of the Francophone community in London. Often described as the “sixth largest French city” due to its large and vibrant French-speaking population, London provides a unique setting where French is actively used in everyday life. The session will focus on practical, real-world language drawn from cafés, cultural events, as well as schools and workplaces across the city. You’ll explore how French is spoken within these communities while building a good understanding of the basics of the language and gaining confidence in listening and speaking through interactive, accessible activities.
