A taster in … Danish!

With its shared Germanic roots, Danish has more in common with English than many people realise. This interactive taster offers a fast-paced introduction to the language – and you may be surprised by how much you can understand (and say) in just one session.

We’ll work with core structures and high-frequency vocabulary to get you communicating quickly, while also exploring the distinctive sounds of Danish.

By the end, you’ll be building simple sentences, spotting familiar patterns and showing off some real, usable Danish.

The taster is delivered by Anne Grydehøj, Associate Professor in Danish at UCL.
